In a star studded field of the best mid-west drivers from the top divisions of Late model, Modified, karting, and snowmobile racing,  USMTS driver Alan Mondus of Lakeville, MN,  covered the field of 80 plus drivers, lapping the field up to second place, in a flawless drive to the Title and $10,000.00 win.   The field competed on equally matched "Rocket Barstools" that were specially prepared with studded tires to race on the Hockey rink turned race coarse.  Each driver was given only 4 practice laps prior to competing,  18 year old Mondus who later was touted as the world champion bar stool racer - not legal to even sit on a bar stool, demonstrated his versatility to adjust and crossed the finish line of 25 lap main 1st.  The event is scheduled to be televised on
SPEED channels Lucus Oils "On the Edge" at a later date.
