Mondus clinches final spot for ‘The Hunt’
With his top-10 finish in Tuesday night's event, Mondus clinched
a top-10 finish in the Central Region points standings and earned a
spot in ‘The Hunt’
for the O’Reilly USMTS National Championship. Only fifteen drivers
will be qualified for ‘The Hunt’ and the The points will be reset
much like the NEXTEL cup chase.

of Lakeville, MN posted a strong presence in Open Modified USRA
racing in the past week. The #55 open modified posted a 2nd,
(2) 3rds, 10th and 12th, along with two heat wins and several laps
led in USRA racing.

4/3/06 -- ALAN MONDUS -- RACING READY TO GET BACK AT IT
After weeks of
re-scheduling and cancellations, team anxious to get back to racing.
Hopefully mother nature will cooperate and racing will resume at one
of Alan's favorite tracks and the site of his first modified race
Hancock speedway in Britt IA on Friday April 7th, and
continuing on to Osky on Sat April 8th. Results and updates to
come!
2/15/06 - MONDUS TOP FIVE FINISH AT
YOUNG GUNS, IN GEORGIA --
In the teams first
event of the year Alan finished fourth in the "Coke Cola Young Guns
Nationals" The event which had 50 plus entries from as far
away as California and Ont. CND, Mondus qualified 5th and finished
the race fourth.

car Loaded and heading to Georgia!
The hot new B&B car is loaded in the
teams hauler and driver and crew are excited.
Owner of the team Scott Mondus stated

"Young Guns" at Coke-Cola Shoot-out, February 2-4th 2006.
Young 17 year old Mondus will join the "Coke Cola Shoot out" field
along with fellow USMTS series regular Zack Vanderbeek (2005 shoot
out champion). Alan Mondus #55 - joined the Midwest's
premier modified racing series in 2005 as a regular, and although
the season did not go as hoped he gained incredible experience and
knowledge sharing the track of legendary 7 time series champion
Kelly Shyrock, and chasing top modified veterans of Tommy Meyer,
Mark Noble, Cory Dripps, and some of the best modified drivers in
the country.

MAKES ASPHALT DEBUT --
Alan
Mondus of Lakeville, MN made his "Late Model Asphalt" Debut at Raceway
park, in Shakopee,MN. Mondus driving for Jorgenson Brothers Racing in the #81 car
had a strong run and finish in the first of six "AC Delco Challenge Series" races
- Placing 8th in a strong field in his first ever asphalt start.
